What makes a Peer Assembly different from a seminar?
Peer Assemblies bring together business leaders
and industry experts to elevate every participant’s knowledge of the subject topic to the level of all the knowledge in
the room. In contrast, the goal of a seminar is to teach everybody only what the speaker knows.
Isn’t a Peer Assembly just another term for a workshop?
No! At the close of a Peer Assembly, every
participant will have a concrete, usable product (such as a real-life employee handbook for the participant’s company).
Workshops typically just focus on practice sets.
Who else is going to be in attendance?
All participants will be progressive business leaders who share an
interest in the topic subject with you, as well as industry experts.
Is the purpose of Peer Assemblies networking?
Not in the traditional sense of coming together for the
purpose of mutual promotion. You will become acquainted with other executives, and experts from the industry defined by
the topic, but for the primary purpose of gaining knowledge and applying structure around the topic subject.
What’s in it for me?
You’ll leave every Peer Assembly with a customized protocol on the subject topic that
you and the other business leaders and industry experts have crafted in an environment of shared knowledge.
What can Peer Circle do for me that I don’t already get from me business friends?
Peer Circle
participants have only one agenda – helping their fellow peers gain the understanding they need to make the decisions that
are best for them. Business friends normally give advice with an ego motive or with the burden of assumptions.
What assurance do I have that the other business leaders in my Peer Circle will be people I can trust and respect?
Peer participants are prudently matched into circles to create an empowering environment. The Peer Circles,
LLC organization is skilled in matchmaking to assure the optimum configuration of circle participants.
Why would I pay money to go serve as an advisor to another business leader?
The process of studying the
challenges of a business other than your own is a powerful learning tool. While focusing on solutions for others,
extraordinary possibilities occur to you for your own business.
How could anybody else relate to the problems I face in my business?
Our experience has shown us that
you’d be hard-pressed to come up with a problem that is unique only to you and your business – only the tax i.d. numbers
are different.
How does a Peer Circle differ from my trade association?
Trade associations are made up of competitors who
are focused on “what is good for the industry”. Peer Circles are focused on “what is good for me.”
Is networking the purpose of Peer Circles?
No – learning is the purpose of Peer Circles.
What’s in it for me?
A supportive, non-judgmental, structure of extraordinary fellowship within which you
can gain the knowledge needed to make sound business plans and decisions.
What is the difference between an Executive Coach and a consultant?
A Peer Circle Executive Coach
will bring valuable knowledge to your planning and control as a learning partner in the context of the Johari Window. An
Executive Coach also extracts your very best thinking. A consultant, on the other hand, simply brings answers in the
current time frame.
What is the difference between an Executive Coach and a life Coach?
Life coaches are normally
focused on supporting you in your life balance. While an Executive Coach is aware of your needs in all areas of your life,
the focus is to help you achieve the vision you defined for your work life.
Why would I pay someone to hold me accountable to my own plan?
Because achieving your vision is important,
and most of us aren’t capable of being relentlessly accountable for our own dreams.
What message am I sending to my Executive Management Team by hiring an Executive Coach for myself?
You are
telling your team that you are so committed to providing the leadership that will assure your team success that you have
hired a coach.
What could an Executive Coach possibly bring to my attention that I am not already aware of?
In the
context of the Johari Window example, you might gain as much as a 50% increase in the information with which you are
making your most impactful decisions.
What makes a Peer Circle Executive coach different from any other Executive Coach?
A Peer Circles
Executive Coach takes a stand for you to be all that you desire to be … no limits.
What’s in it for me?
50% more information with which to make major decisions, unvarnished feedback on your
ideas, assurance of accomplishing your vision, and company in that “lonely place at the top”.
